About YC Bootcamp

The Young Changemakers Bootcamp (YCB) is an intensive one-week residential program for high school students (grade 9 to 12 or equivalent) designed to expose students to real-life engineering & problem-solving skills. Through hands-on-learning & interdisciplinary coursework, students will learn the essentials of entrepreneurial innovation to turn their ideas into action. We wish to transform their capabilities for entrepreneurial innovation past what they thought was possible & unleash the potential that they have to solve some of the most pressing challenges being faced by the world in these times.

“What is the defining skill for the 21st century? It’s not coding, it’s the ability to solve problems & lead change.”

- Ravi Venkatesan, Special Representative for Young People and Innovation at UNICEF

The Journey So Far

In the last four editions of YCB, we attracted driven and passionate students from high schools across the country. Students mastered the art of changemaking through dynamic expert lectures, engaging group discussions, and hands-on team activities, fostering a transformative learning experience. Several students from the earlier cohort of the program went on to build upon the ideas they worked on in team during bootcamp & launch their own initiatives, start changemaker clubs in their schools, etc. The past cohort of the program has added to the very strong community of passionate leaders of change that TOH is trying to build and we hope to continue nurturing it.
